257 patents distributed in Ifugao

 

A total of 257 agricultural patents were recently awarded in various villages of Ifugao.

The mass distribution of patents held at San Marcos, Alfonso Lista was spearheaded by the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office in Lamut, in coordination with the Provincial ENR Office – Ifugao and the Registry of Deeds (ROD).

Ifugao PENR Officer Romeo Bravo; Alfonso Lista CENR Officer Andres Pinkihan; and Ifugao Registrar Clarence Guinid led the mass distribution of patents to beneficiaries of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ patent issuance under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program.

Of the 257 patents; one was of a lot in Caragasan; two in Laya; two in Dolowog; three in Namnama; four in Pinto; five in Potia; eight in Calupaan; and nine in Busilac.

Some 12 patents were also given in Kiling; 12 in San Quintin; 15 in Ngileb; 40 in Sto. Domingo; 64 in Sta. Maria; and 80 in San Marcos.

The Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program is among the programs relative to land distribution led by the DENR which aims to grant ownership of agricultural lands to landless farmers. |PBalao, C. Alfonso Lista
